I was looking at photos from the Tomtom Tembisa Street Mile  and noticed how good it looks when the athletes have their names rather than race numbers on their vests. Like at the IAAF Diamond Leagues 🙂 This also makes it more interesting for the spectators and help the announcer too. We decided to use the name identification system at our Eden Street Mile Series as well.

So what do we need from you? Because the numbers are printed before the race only athletes that have pre-entered can have their names on their race vests. The cut-off date for the printing of race names and numbers will be 9 December. All entries received after the 9th of December will receive the traditional race number.
